how do you know it's all real? why hasn't aurora or echo said anything to us here?

What? Why?

I don't think Echo is in a position to be able to do that. Aurora may have her own limitations, I'm not sure. But the math checks out, I'm certain of that. Finch and I didn't make a mistake, and it isn't some sneaky misdirection.

Wait, really? Do your parents know?

It's complicated, and not everything is falling apart at the same time. Like Finch said, the time we're talking about is in astronomical terms. So millions, billions and trillions of years. Both his universe and my universe have theories on what the end of the universe looks like, but they're just that: theories. Yours probably have some, too. Echo's math confirms it all.

ok but then why bring us all here to prove our worlds are worth saving? why not bring us here to work together to find a solution to fix it?

You celebrated it with them, then?

I don't know. Maybe Echo has a hard time determining who would be a worthwhile candidate in helping find that solution, and this is their way of weeding out the people who aren't.

but we don't even know the criteria of what they're looking for if it's some potential candidate that might be able to come up with a solution.

That's good.

Yeah. The math doesn't answer everything, there are still a lot of questions Echo could answer. The problem is, I'm not sure if Echo is in any state to be able to do that.

No, they haven't. At least not to Etraya at large. If Echo showed themselves to some single person they sure as fuck haven't shared that information with the rest of us.
