I don't know. Maybe Echo has a hard time determining who would be a worthwhile candidate in helping find that solution, and this is their way of weeding out the people who aren't.

but we don't even know the criteria of what they're looking for if it's some potential candidate that might be able to come up with a solution.

Yeah. The math doesn't answer everything, there are still a lot of questions Echo could answer. The problem is, I'm not sure if Echo is in any state to be able to do that.

No, they haven't. At least not to Etraya at large. If Echo showed themselves to some single person they sure as fuck haven't shared that information with the rest of us.
