Once they get to the esper's place, Donnie's already pulling his goggles down- or at least he was until he sees the phone.]

[Donnie taps his goggles down for a look.]

Well, this thing's definitely steeped in her magic-

[He watches as his display brings up earlier scans from the scene in Excelsior before proclaiming a match, and with a grin, he starts tapping at his holocomputer.]

Yes, I think this'll work. At least, if the person I spoke with isn't just pulling my leg. But it's still got a magical trace from Chaos Gate, so if this turns out a bust, at least we still have something we can possibly go by.

In any case, if we're going to be doing this, we need to step things up. Things have only started getting worse everywhere if the indications of the local Metas losing their abilities hasn't already been a big hint. ...the Shining God's still hanging around too.

[Donnie holds the phone back out to Accelerator. He supposes he'll want to hang onto it.]

I'll set up a meeting now that I've got a confirmed trace we can use. But we'll likely have to go to Excelsior.

Oh great, because nothing bad ever happens there.

[Leo’s barely been there but he’s basically decided he hates it. At least with Central City’s brand of Bad is one he feels familiar with.]

Good news is the teleporters are still working, though. We can probably borrow one from Huvrye to get all three of us there.

[Accelerator is echoing Leo's sentiments regarding Excelsior by way of an exasperated sigh. That place sucks super hard.]

I've got one of my own I can use from the Society, so I'm good there.

[Not that Donnie can argue with either of them considering their recent experiences and what all's been going on in the city in the wake of that last battle. He holds his hands out to either side in a shrug.]

Accelerator, unsurprisingly, would like to just take a nap, but Leo is leaning on him and he knows where he's going. He just sighs, trying not to tilt too much due to Leo's weight.]
