Yup. We don't know these people, and we don't know what state their city is going to be in. It's safer to keep it to keep it to yourself.

yeah. i figured i'd let you know because of your whole interest in computers and AI and if this keycard can help us get in somewhere to investigate this, well.

Thanks. I'm planning on trying to check in on that damn AI when we get there, so if I hear anything about places that might need a keycard I'll let you know.

Good idea. If Castor's still in one piece, you're going to want to look for places that have beefed up bot security and aren't easily accessible.

[Not that he likes sharing information about Aurora, but it could be useful here and he trusts Jon.]

Don't fucking yap to people about this, but Aurora's brain is deep, deep below the hospital. I'd expect Castor to have a setup like that, too.

i guess it would be a little predictable to be in a hospital as well but just in case if there's any there, i'll take a look.

Eos and Borealis both had their bases in hospitals, so it's a logical place to start.

i'll check there first then. you think it's a good idea to come up with a signal in case comms end up down so we can identify or contact each other?

Don't worry about that. I can use my esper ability as a back-up for communications and surveillance.

Yeah. You'll need to be outside, though. It isn't perfect, but it'll function for the short term.

is there anyone else you trust with this? like if we find a way to use this keycard and do something about this problem.

A guy named Harold Finch. He was the person I asked to help out with Aurora before we knew her limits were bigger than just her AI programming. He wouldn't tell anyone if we asked him to keep it to himself.

I don't think it could hurt, but it's your keycard, so it's up to you.

[Which probably isn't the most helpful for a little kid making a big decision. He thinks on this for a moment, then sends another message.]

I have a keycard, too. Way back when people were first getting pulled here, the elevator down to Aurora's brain wasn't locked. Anyone could go down there, and as long as they could contend with the robot security, lack of air and heat they could reach her brain. That may be how Im'mari ended up infecting her.

After a few of us went down there and cut that damn thing out of her, someone else suggested she lock the elevator. I think I'm the only one still around with a keycard, and I haven't told anyone until now. I don't want to another fucking Im'mari repeat.

what do you mean by lack of air? the room itself had no oxygen in it?

Yup. People aren't meant to go down there, so we had to bring our own air to breathe.

breathing in space isn't too much trouble for a kryptonian. 🙂
