[Schooling hasn't been something Accelerator has considered all that important until very recently, having been coloured by his own extremely isolated experience. But now that he's trying to be more responsible he understands how important it is to attend school. It isn't just the tests or grades, it's learning how to socialize with others and how to fit into a (relatively) normal society. He never had that, and look how he turned out.

There are more typical schools. The curriculum is still gonna be beyond a regular Earth one and they'll all have specific activities espers need to do, but it wouldn't be hard for you to get into one of those.
